Highly recommend 5x5. We had built a website with another provider that required a specific functionality that we wanted. After 6 months, the website didn't function properly and we were left with an issue that couldn't be fixed. We then turned to 5x5. Using their Word Press skills they created a new site with the functionality we needed which has continued to work with no issues. Aaron and I are the co-directors of Pure Design Concepts, an industry leader in property marketing. We were on the hunt for a great web design company to take our website to a new level, and we came across Jon & the 5x5 crew on Google. Admittedly, we had a bit of natural "buyers resistance" at the start knowing that we had high expectations, but that resistance quickly subsided as it was evident that the 5x5 team's values were similarly aligned to ours (albeit in a completely different industry!). These guys are very progressive - we've started using some software that they use on their clients (us), and we've also even taken some inspiration in the way they speak to their customer. Sam's design eye was impeccable, Carla was the magician who bought it all together and no doubt there were many others behind the scene who contributed to the amazing product that we've been given.
