My name is Jon Hollenberg, and I own a website design business called Five by Five. We specialise in building great looking, high performing websites that bring in more leads and enquiries.

17 years ago, working in my bedroom, in my board shorts, I started building websites. And since then, I’ve gone on to work with clients such as Qantas, Jeep, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary plus hundreds of other smaller businesses Australia wide. I’m also the proud author of Love At First Site, a no BS guide to getting your website firing. I found over the years that the website game was becoming more and more commoditised. People were shopping around, they were getting 3 quotes and it was really getting hard for us to pitch and win work. So we convince people that we are awesome, and all other website designers out there are no good. And, because of this it was driving prices down. We were caught on that treadmill of putting out our heart and soul into each one of these projects and then having to go out and find the next project. And I never really taken the time to unpacked what we were actually doing. It was all up here in my head. The thing that got the biggest impact was writing and publishing my book around website design. This has hands down been the best thing that I have ever done for my business.

Love At First Site, it answers the question “What does it actually takes to build a great looking, high performing site that gets you found in Google and brings in those leads and enquiries?”. The awesome thing now is I get introduced as a published author! The book as Andrew said is a business card on steroids, competition is irrelevant, we have a much higher conversion rate and we don’t get that push back on price like we use to. The other really cool thing is that its not me building websites anymore, I’ve got a team of 10 people who are doing the roll out and the implementation of our methodology and our process. We’re working with a better clientele because they know what to expect from us. They’ve read my book. They understand what our process is. We are also working on bigger and better projects. Im presenting in seminar and digital strategy and leads are flowing in the door. In result people are buying more stuff faster. So for me the biggest thing that KPI has done is giving me confidence, confidence to go out there and back myself knowing that I’m worthy of success, because I’m an expert and a leader in my field.
